I’ve randomly booked off the week from work for Easter. No real reason, just wanted to get away and try to reset my head. It does seem that the work/life balance hasn’t been there recently. As I never seem to stop as I’m on call pretty much 24/7. I like to be there for my team. Still, I also want my time to just switch off. I don’t get to do that often.

As some of you may know, as you get older, grays start appearing. And no…not the Alien type. The terrifying colour in your hair. Even worse, it’s in my beard! So to try and make myself feel bit younger…I’m toying with the idea of dying my hair and my beard. Never dyed a beard, so this will be interesting.

I’ve brought some beard dye, one that I hope closely matches my current hair colour. But here’s a twist…I’ve gone with a dark green for my actual hair. I’m hoping it will be subtle green and not to bright. It’s been close to 15 years since I last dyed my hair. So it’s bit exciting for me to go back to it! For those who know me in the real world, expect some pictures! If you want them that is!

It has also been Wrestlemania weekend!! Not the most exciting Wrestlemania tbh, and it seems I’m not alone in that view point. I’ve heard alot of complaining that the events were a little…lacking. Night 1 was so much better.

Someone did make a good point though. Last years Wrestlemania, so much happened to close out the story for Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. We had the Rock, Undertaker and a SHIELD cameo, did that spoil future Wrestlemanias that won’t have the same impact? Quite possibly…kind of like what happened to Marvel after Endgame and Spiderman.

I’ve really enjoyed staying up and watching it all, not worrying about getting to sleep because of work. I’ve stayed up till 4am for 3 nights running now….NxT is on tonight….do I do it again?

And then the last highlight of the week off….The first Festival for Monster Hunter Wilds start tomorrow!! Didn’t realise the timing, but that’s perfect! Will be so happy to be spending sometime on that! Getting ready for the Arch Tempered Rey Dau that’s due out next week (29th April I believe).

I’ve also got massively back into Terraria (check out my love for it in a past post). This time, I’ve got someone that is joining in with me. He’s never done a modded playthrough before. I’m taking him through Calamity to see all the wonders. Thanks Drew! I am tempted to make my own playthrough and actually do a let’s play type series on my YouTube. I’m not sure if I’ll manage to keep it going though. It takes alot of time, which I do have during this week off. But as soon as I’m back to work, then that time has gone….maybe I should just quit work??

Anyway, have you all had a good Easter? Did any of you get up-to anything interesting? Should I start a lets play series? So many questions and not enough time!!
