Where on earth did this come from??

Randomly saw a premiere video from Bethesda on YouTube earlier, thought I’d give that a watch. It was due to start within next 30 minutes. Then I got playing Terraria and forgot the video existed.

After a few hours, I turn on my Xbox. I just see a small advert on the dashboard ‘Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered’. I quickly, quit the app I was loading and went to check it out! Not only was it announced in that video I forgot about, but it was available today as well! The hell?!

Oblivion has a special place in my heart. It was the very first game I got on my Xbox 360 back in the day. Spent countless hours and builds on that game. So I’m more than happy to look into doing that again.

The wife brought me a copy of the game on steam (love you). I’ve spent the last hour or so playing it. It looks gorgeous, it feels gorgeous (Although it’s a little strange on the keyboard and mouse now). I’m hesitant to run through the main story as I don’t want to rush it. Still, I just remember that it was brutal trying to finish the main story at a higher level. This is because all the enemies level with you. Back then, I always rushed through the main story as quickly as possible so it was easier. Do I want to do that again? I’m not too sure.
