Oblivion Remastered as been out for a couple of weeks so far. I think I’ve re-started the game 4 or 5 times now! (Haha I’m on my Fifth Try! Didn’t expect that) I assume that everyone else has the same problem as me? You invest so much time in one build. You then decide that you aren’t happy with it. You want a new character?

Only problem is, I have realized this twice…after 15 hours per save!! So after 30 hours, I still haven’t gotten further than, maybe half way, through the main quest. I haven’t beaten any of the guilds. I just keep starting over.

I did start over and plan to make a super Overpowered build at level 1. Managed to get sneak to Level 100 before I left the starting cell. But after a few hours, I didn’t like it. Being Overpowered just wasn’t as fun as I thought.

Well, now, on my 5th Character, I’m aiming to play as a Spellsword. You can also call it a Battle mage. I’m refusing to touch bow and arrows in this playthrough as I tend to always do them. No exploits to make money, glitch items etc. And tbh, I’m enjoying it alot more.

I’ve added some mods to make it more of an experience as well. The one mod fixes the scaling issues Oblivion has. The rest of the mods are mainly cosmetic. For example, in vanilla Oblivion, you can fast travel to all the main towns straight away. The mod I’ve downloaded disables that. So I’m forced to go exploring and come across some nice dungeons etc. I’ve also got a colored map now! Make it looks much nicer!

Is anyone else on here playing Oblivion? What build are you going for? And why is it stealth Archer?
